Q: What food options does the café offer?
A: Our café has several different pastry options including various muffins and cookies. Check out some of our menu items here.
 
Q: How much is it to hang out in the Cat Lounge?
A: It is $10 per person for one hour in the Cat Lounge. We have special rates for veterans, students, and seniors! Your admission fee helps keep the doors open and the kitties cared for!
 
Q: Are children allowed to come to Kitty Brew?
A: Well supervised children of ANY age are welcome any day, any time. On Wednesdays, anyone under 18 is admitted into the Cat Lounge for $5 instead of $10.
 
Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: Yes! The value never expires and can be purchased at Kitty Brew Cafe or online via this LINK.
 
Q: How does the adoption process work?
A: Kitty Brew has one application that is valid for all four of the rescues we work with which you can find here. Criteria for adoption is solely decided by the rescue. Adoptions may take up to 24 hours to process, but this could change due to unforeseen circumstances. If you are approved to adopt your new best friend, you will need to take your cat home within 48 hours. Kitty Brew cannot hold cats for adoption for any reason.
 
Q: How much does it cost to adopt a cat?
A: Adoption fees range from $10-$80. Animal Friends Humane Society’s adoption fee is $10 (cash only). His Hands Extended Sanctuary’s adoption fee is $80 (cash only). The Paws Cause Rescue adoption fee is $50 for adults and $80 for kittens (cash/check only). HART’s adoption fee is $70 adults and $80 for adults (cash, card, or check).
 
Q: How can I find out what cats are available for adoption?
A: You may make a reservation online or do a walk-in visit to meet the Brew Crew! Due to the high volume of requests we receive for specific cats, we are not able to respond to everyone. Please come meet the Brew Crew in person!
 
Q: What vetting have the cats at Kitty Brew received?
A: All cats have been blood tested for FELV, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks/parasites, and spayed or neutered. Per the rescues Kitty Brew works with, the cats have been deemed healthy to the best of their knowledge.

Q: Where you are located?
A: 6011 Tylersville Road suites 6 and 7, Mason OH 45040. We are located in the same plaza as El Caporal, in the lower level.
 
Q: Are you hiring?
A: Kitty Brew is not currently hiring. If positions become available, they will be posted on our Facebook page.
 
Q: Are you accepting volunteers?
A: Kitty Brew is not accepting new volunteers at this time.
 
Q: Why is there a big orange cat outside of Kitty Brew?
A: His name is Will Feral. He is our local stray who has been TNR’d. Please do not feed him human food. He prefers cat food and is fed very well by Kitty Brew!
 
Q: Do you accept cats from the public?
A: Kitty Brew is not a rescue and does not accept cats from the public. If you have a cat to surrender, please reach out to your local rescues and shelters.
 
Q: What if I’m allergic to cats?
A: That’s okay! Our café is completely separate from the Cat Lounge meaning those who suffer from allergies can hang out in the café and enjoy a cup of coffee.
 
Q: How many cats are at Kitty Brew?
A: We typically have around 25 cats in our Cat Lounge at one time.
 
Q: Do you do parties?
A: Yes! Renting the lounge for parties costs $150, plus tax. The fee covers one hour in the Cat Lounge for up to 22 guests. Please email us for more information!
